New Green Amber Categories of Silver Jewellery January 16, 2007
Posted by martin in : Amber Information, Green Amber , add a comment
We have just added some new categories to Amber Zone. Green amber jewellery has become more and more popular because of its distinctive beauty and warmth so we have tried to make it easier for you to see our green amber pieces.
To see the main green amber jewellery category. Or you can go to the sub categories - green amber earrings, green amber pendants, green amber bangles, green amber bracelets, green amber brooches and green amber necklaces.
Green amber is created just the same as orange / cognac amber - fossilised tree resin set in precious metals. The difference with green amber is that organic material was trapped inside - moss, leaves, etc. giving it the distinctive green colour.
So, take a minute to have a look at our green amber and see just why they’re so popular. Click here for the green jewellery.

Green amber pendant December 27, 2006
Posted by martin in : Amber Reviews, Amber Pendants, Green Amber , add a comment
This green amber pendant has been one of our most popular pendants over Christmas and, indeed, one of the most popular pieces of amber jewellery. Triangular in shape and set in sterling silver, this pendant is rather substantial at 8.9grams in weight. In size the amber is approx 29mm at the longest points and 18mm wide. From the tip of the bale to the bottom it is 47mm in length.
As you can see from the picture, the colours change inside the pendant - please note that as the amber is authentic and natural, it won’t be exactly the same in real life as it is in the picture…there are always slight changes making each piece of amber jewellery unique.
As always with our amber pendants, we don’t include a chain but you can choose one if you so wish on the product page and you can also have it nicely giftwrapped if you so desire.
All in all, a very attractive piece of silver and amber.
You can see more amber pendants here and on this pendant page too.
Martin.

Green Amber Bracelet December 4, 2006
Posted by martin in : Amber Reviews, Amber bracelets, Green Amber , add a comment
As always with amber bracelets, it’s so hard to show on a website just how good the bracelet is in real life. This green amber bracelet here is a prime example. Made up on 9 oval pieces of genuine amber linked together and with a lobster claw clasp to make it easy to put on and set in hallmarked sterling silver linked together to make an approx 7 1/2 inch / 19cm (not including the clasp) silver bracelet.
The weight of the amber bracelet is approx 8.4g and the green amber stones are around 8mm x 6.5mm. As with all genuine amber jewellery, each piece of green amber is unique with slightly (very slightly!) different colours between each of the stones.
All in all, this green amber bracelet is ideal for a gift - it looks good when in deluxe packaging.
